Two-factor authentication or two-step verification is a security feature offered by Yahoo Mail for providing a better security to its users’ information and data. Two-step verification works by providing an extra layer of security to a users’ Yahoo account. Whenever a user accesses his Yahoo account on a new device or web browser, Yahoo sends a Security code to users’ phone number which is required to be entered when signing into the account.
